Hello and thank you for visiting my blog. Today I am launching the details of my up and coming Card/Papercraft Classes to be held in Cherry Burton, which is in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Cherry Burton is a small village about 2.5 miles from Beverley.
I plan to hold these classes on a weekly basis on Thursday afternoons and evenings.
The first class will be on Thursday 11th July 2019. I plan to do 2 classes each week the first one on Thursday afternoon starting at 1pm until 3pm. The class will be repeated again on the same evening 7pm until 9pm. Initially while the classes are small I plan to hold them in my home. I may progress to larger premises in the future depending on the interest.
These classes are for adults only 16+ however I may hold classes for children and an accompanying adult at a later date.
This class is suitable for all levels from beginner to avid crafter. I will start by introducing the basic’s, introducing simple stamping cards and progressing each week learning new techniques. The main aim of the classes are to gather and meet new friends, take up a new hobby and relax and have fun.
How I made this card
Base card whisper white 25.5 cm x 18 cm (10″ x 7″) scored and folded at 13cm. Petal pink card 16 cm x 11.5 cm adhere to the card base. Crumb Cake card 15cm x 10.5 cm adhere to the pink card.
Stamp the Magnolia flower onto Whisper White card and heat emboss using white embossing powder. Colour the flower using Aqua Painter and Petal Pink ink and the leaves with Coastal Cabana ink. Fussy cut the flower and adhere to the card.
Stamp the sentiment using Crumb Cake ink and die cut using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Attach the twine and the sentiment to the card using Dimensionals.
